Clayton Ledger is a free, nonpartisan local-news newsletter about public meetings in Clayton, Missouri. By using this website or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

What we provide

We publish summaries of public government meetings, based on the public record — agendas, minutes, transcripts, and other public documents — and we link factual claims to their sources. We are a small effort and not a substitute for the official record; the Board of Education's and City Council's own minutes and records are the authoritative account.

No warranty

We provide Clayton Ledger “as is,” in good faith, without warranties of any kind. We may get things wrong; when we do, we correct them. Nothing here is legal, financial, or professional advice.

Subscriptions and tips

Free subscriptions are free. Paid subscriptions and tips are processed by Stripe and are voluntary. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account; it will not renew after the current period.

Your conduct

Please don't misuse the site — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, scraping it abusively, or impersonating us.

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page.
